The experience
A Friday evening to Nice, as it usually goes.
You tell your coordinator where, and roughly when. That is the whole of your part.
Aircraft, crew and slot are held. A car is booked for the minute you mentioned.
Your driver knows the terminal entrance by heart. Luggage goes straight to the hold.
Passports are checked in the car. You walk twenty metres, not two kilometres.
Fifteen minutes from the car door. Dinner is whatever you asked for when you called.
Ten o’clock, local time. The car is on the apron before the engines are off.
